Race Report

Summary: CALM All Porsche Trophy – Round 3, Snetterton 300 Circuit (14 & 15 June 2025)

Following an unavoidable absence from Round 2 at Brands Hatch, the return to the grid for Round 3 at Snetterton carried extra weight — both in expectation and intensity. With a bumper weekend format featuring two 15-minute sprint races and a 40-minute endurance contest, competitors faced a serious test of pace, endurance, and setup. A strong field of 38 drivers across 32 Porsches — spanning four classes — ensured the CALM All Porsche Trophy remained as competitive as ever.

Track conditions varied across the weekend, with scorching heat dominating most sessions and a sudden shower dampening the circuit just before the second sprint. Snetterton's long straights and technical corners rewarded cars that could maintain top-end speed while staying composed under braking — a balance that Kenn van Hauen and Porsche 903 managed to find in abundance.

In the Invitation class, van Hauen secured class wins and posted personal bests across the board. The car's recent upgrades — including a newly integrated ignition system, combined with the earlier supercharger and intercooler enhancements — delivered a noticeable boost. The data told the story: a best lap of 2:16.711, a blistering 219.4 km/h down Bentley Straight, and 204.2 km/h along Senna Straight marked clear progress in outright performance.

Despite the heat and mixed grip levels, the weekend was a breakthrough moment for both driver and machine — underlining the effectiveness of recent developments and setting a confident tone heading into the next round at Anglesey in July.
