Ongoing Development & Improvements

With the 2026 specification now complete and the car making its competitive debut at Donington Park in May 2026, focus turns to the next round of targeted refinements.

  • Exhaust Heat Management: Following extensive research into mitigating the heat generated by the exhaust manifolds within the engine bay, EPS’s Dave Rowe has identified IMMICO Thermo Immission Control Ltd as the right specialist for this work. A prominent UK-based manufacturer, IMMICO produces bespoke, motorsport-grade thermal management solutions for some of the most demanding environments in motorsport, including the British Touring Car Championship and top-tier Formula programmes. Where others rely on standard fabric wraps, IMMICO’s hallmark is the design and manufacture of custom-engineered integral insulation systems: precision-built hard-body and welded heat shielding alongside removable heatshields tailored to each application. This level of engineering is the natural choice for a supercharged, intercooled engine bay where heat soak is a critical concern.
  • Pop-up Front Headlights: Custom-fit into the flat-nose front wings, these will significantly improve visibility in low-light or overcast race conditions, a vital safety addition for endurance events and late-summer sprint races.
